Cassi Amman

     I am an Indiana-born graphic designer with a deep appreciation for how it reflects the world around us as well as makes the world more beautiful. I've been a sucker for packaging design my whole life and finally decided to do something about it. Currently I am working toward a BFA in Visual Communications Design while freelancing.

     I love nature and animals, often focusing my subject matter on organic shapes and fauna, while also having an appreciation for more geometric and abstract shapes and the contemporary aesthetics associated with those. As somebody who has drawn and created my whole life, I have expertise in illustration and love the unique styles of different art historical periods and how those can translated to modern day graphic design and art. 

     My philosophy when it comes to design is to have an empathetic approach, trying to think of the best way to complete a project in a way that makes myself happy, as well as the user or the client's own experience. I think there is nothing more satisfying than seeing imagination come to life to be made palpable in the real world.
